Se acercan las vacaciones de Navidad y este año, por la situación actual, vamos a pasar -al menos nosotros- más tiempo en casa con los peques. Por esta razón, te traigo tres recomendaciones de pelis navideñas, que este 2020 están triunfando en mi casa. ¡Vamos a verlas! (Aquí y aquí puedes ver recomendaciones de otros años)
¿Qué voy a encontrar en el post?
Crónicas de Navidad (2018) de Clay Kaitis y protagonizada por Kurt Russell, Darby Camp, Goldie Hawn y Judah Lewis nos cuenta cómo Kate Pierce (Darby Camp) y su hermano Teddy (Judah Lewis) pretenden grabar a Papá Noel (Kurt Russell) en Nochebuena. Después de que se monten a escondidas en su trineo, provocan un accidente que podría arruinar toda la Navidad. A partir de ese momento los hermanos vivirán junto a Papá Noel y sus fieles elfos toda una serie de aventuras para salvar la Navidad antes de que sea demasiado tarde.
Crónicas de Navidad 2 (2020) está dirigida por Chris Columbus. Esta segunda parte de la saga nos cuenta cómo Kate Pierce (Darby Camp), que ahora es una adolescente, se reúne inesperadamente con Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) cuando un misterioso malhechor amenaza con destruir la Navidad para siempre. Esta comedia navideña es la secuela de Crónicas de Navidad (2018), que en esta ocasión dirige Chris Columbus, responsable de películas como Pixels: La película (2015) y Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal (2001).
Elf
Esta película de 2003 les ha divertido un montón a mis hijos. Una Nochebuena, en un orfanato, un bebé gatea dentro de un saco de regalos de Santa Claus y acaba en su taller del Polo Norte. Es adoptado y educado como un elfo pero 30 años después, al crecer, se hace tres veces más grande que los demás. Deciden entonces que lo mejor para él será encontrar a su familia. Con esa intención viaja a Nueva York, donde consigue primero encontrar a su padre (James Caan), un editor de libros infantiles, adicto al trabajo y al dinero, que figura en la lista negra de Santa Claus. Después encuentra una nueva madre (Mary Steenburgen) y descubre que su hermanastro de diez años (Daniel Tay) no cree en los elfos ni en Santa Claus ni en las Navidades. Así que a Elf le toca aprovechar su conocimiento para intentar ganarse el amor de su familia y, además, salvar el espíritu navideño tanto en Nueva York como en el resto del mundo.
Y hasta aquí tres pelis navideñas con las que pasar una buena tarde de sofá y manta en familia. Las tres están disponibles en Netflix.
