La Casa Cervantes se prepara ya para el Día del Libro. ¿Te imagináis que tu perro hablase por la noche? ¿Qué te contaría? El escritor Miguel de Cervantes vivió en Valladolid hace mucho tiempo y se hizo estas mismas preguntas. Cipión y Berganza son los perros protagonistas de su obra El Coloquio de los perros, y a través del mágico mundo de las aventuras que vivieron en el hospital del que eran guardianes en nuestra ciudad, vamos a descubrir también a qué personas conocieron.
Así que vamos a celebrar el Día del Libro como se merece, recordando al autor de esta historia y por eso, desde la Casa Cervantes, quieren que les acompañes y visites la casa en la que vivió este famoso escritor durante su estancia en Valladolid y conozcas cómo escribió este libro y todos los demás.

Exposición
La Casa Revilla acoge la exposición: ‘La literatura infantil en los libros desplegables‘. Los libros con elementos mecánicos de papel tienen más de siete siglos de existencia y en sus inicios, estuvieron vinculados a disciplinas como la astronomía o la anatomía, pero a finales del siglo XVIII, alguien pensó que estos formatos bibliográficos poco convencionales también podrían desempeñar una función lúdica. Un siglo más tarde, en plena época victoriana, se editaron los que hoy en día siguen considerándose como los más bellos ejemplares de libros desplegables jamás impresos. Estos pop-ups, si utilizamos el término anglosajón que ya se ha impuesto a nivel mundial, recogían a menudo entre sus páginas los cuentos clásicos.
En esta muestra podremos contemplar auténticas obras de arte.

Nosotros hemos acudido a algún chiquiplán de este programa y el último al que acudimos fue espectáculo de magia y he de reconocer que nos encantó. La ratona salió encantada e ilusionada y dio gusto verla durante los 60 minutos que duró el espectáculo.

Y el domingo 9 el LAVA acogerá la representación teatral ‘Lunáticus Circus’, una obra protagonizada por tres vagabundos que se encuentran una vieja caravana de curvo abandonada en mitad de la nada. Ellos son tres desventurados sin trabajo, sin comida y sin dinero, tres perdedores de una sociedad en crisis gobernada por unos pocos que se comportan como auténticos ogros. Unos ogros que solo piensan en cómo hacer crecer más y más sus montañas de oro en medio de una gran escasez. Antón Piru y Nico unirán sus fuerzas y agudizarán su ingenio para transformar esa vieja caravana en un pequeño y coqueto circo trotamundos. ¿Quieres saber más?

Talleres para Semana Santa
Durante los días de vacaciones de Semana Santa, la Fundación de Cultura ha preparado diferentes talleres para los más pequeños. A continuación podrás ver la oferta que plantea para los distintos días no lectivos.
Museo de la Pasión
En esta sala se celebrarán dos talleres para niños de entre 4 y 6 años y otros para niños de entre 6 y 8 años. Tomando como referencia la idea de que el arte es mucho más que solamente pintar con pincel sobre lienzos, en estos talleres se experimentarán otras formas originales y estimulantes de aplicar colores sobre superficies de diferentes características: ¿cómo podríamos estampar la textura de una rama sobre un cartón?, ¿de qué maneras podríamos siluetear elementos naturales sobre papeles texturados, cartulinas rugosas o plásticos resbaladizos? En estos talleres, a partir de la experimentación, el aprendizaje por descubrimiento y la sorpresa se trabajará el pensamiento crítico, la imaginación y la reflexión de los más pequeños, con el objetivo de acercarnos a las prácticas artísticas actuales desde un punto de vista abierto e inclusivo.

En esta sala se celebrarán dos talleres para niños de entre 6 y 8 años y otros para chicos de entre 8 y 12 años. Fomentando la participación activa, la experimentación y el aprendizaje por descubrimiento, estos talleres se centrarán en explorar prácticas artísticas con una visión amplia, a través de actividades estimulantes cuyo objetivo es que los participantes puedan trabajar en equipo, conocer el arte desde puntos de vista alternativos al habitual y convertirse en creadores de sus propios proyectos. Así, podrán crear ingeniosas ilustraciones a partir de las sombras de objetos cotidianos, estampar pintura con instrumentos sorprendentes o escribir historias con tipografías hechas de alimentos fragmentados.

Casa Museo Colón
Esta sala albergará talleres para niños de entre 4 y 8 años y otras actividades para chicos de entre 8 y 12 años. Como no podía ser de otra forma, Colón será el protagonista. Y es que cuando hemos visto los viajes de Colón en el Museo, hemos comprobado lo grandes que podían llegar a ser los barcos, ¡tenían la altura de algunos edificios!, además sufrían por el mal tiempo, luchaban contra otros barcos y algunos de ellos acababan hundidos. ¿Cómo representaríamos un fuerte temporal con pinturas y otros materiales? Si nos quedáramos aislados en una isla desierta, ¿qué tipo de mensaje gigante escribiríamos para ser visto desde el cielo? En estos talleres exploraremos, desde un punto de vista sensorial y experiencial, las vivencias de Cristóbal Colón y sus tripulantes durante sus diferentes viajes al continente americano.
