Hace unas semanas fuímos con la ratona a la biblioteca por primera vez. Ella estaba impaciente. Durante toda la semana nos preguntaba si era ese día el Día B (:-D) y cuando por fin llegó el momento se la veía realmente emocionada. ‘Vamos a la bibioteca‘, decía.
Cuando llegamos allí y entramos en la sala infantil se quedó con la boca abierta, alucinaba con tantos cuentos y no sabía dónde sentarse, ni qué libro coger. Después de mucho mirar decidimos que nos llevaríamos este a casa: ‘¡Pobre mamá!’ de Vanesa Pérez-Sauquillo.
Este cuento narra lo que siente una niña cuando su mamá la deja en la guardería o en casa de los abuelos. Tras muchas reflexiones la pequeña llega a la siguiente conclusión: ‘No sé qué haría mi mamá sin mí’ y recuerda distintos momentos que pasan juntas a lo largo de los días: cuando deja la casa patas arribas, cuando encharca el cuarto de baño, cuando ‘decora’ artísticamente las paredes… Después de pensar en estos y otros momentos, la pequeña piensa ‘qué haría mi mamá sin mí, pobre mamá se va a aburrir sin mí’.
Como ya he mencionado el cuento está escrito por la poeta española Vanesa Pérez-Sauquillo que ha ganado el Premio Ojo Crítico de Radio Nacional, en 2012 o el Premio Arte Joven de la CAM en 2006. Y está ilustrado por la alemana Miriam Cordes. He de decir que a nosotras nos han encantado los dibujos, que gozan gozan de gran colorido y son realmente alegres y simpáticos.
Este cuento está recomendado para niños de tres o más años. A mi parecer la edad es la adecuada, ya que a esta edad son capaces de entender la historia y la podemos leer en un ratito, sin necesidad de dejar el cuento a medias para el día siguiente.
