La sala Miguel Delibes del teatro Calderón acoge el viernes y el sábado Feo!. Se trata de un espectáculo de pequeño formato inspirado en «El patito feo» de Andersen. La pequeña fábrica de patitos de goma de “Il Papero Guiallo” produce todos los días cientos y cientos de patitos del mismo tamaño y color… pero un día sale un patito de goma diferente. Feo! es un canto a la diversidad y a la esencia de uno mismo, una comedia para toda la familia.

Además, en este musical se representará la lucha, en la que los animales pelean por la igualdad sea cual sea su origen y raza. Y unidos, apoyándose independientemente de su clase social, lograrán su objetivo.

Semana de la Ciencia
Museo de la Ciencia
El Museo de la Ciencia de Valladolid se vuelve a unir a la Semana de la Ciencia de Castilla y León. Una iniciativa, que tendrá lugar a lo largo de esta semana y está coordinada por el Parque Científico Universidad de Valladolid, con la colaboración de la Consejería de Educación a través de la Fundación Universidades y Enseñanzas Superiores de Castilla y León. El Museo de la Ciencia ha elaborado una amplia programación de actividades para todos los públicos. Esta celebración coincide con la Semana de la Infancia coordinada por el Ayuntamiento de Valladolid, por lo que se han incluido diferentes actividades dirigidas a público infantil.
Del martes 13 al domingo 18 de noviembre habrá un precio reducido de la entrada a las exposiciones temporales ‘Nutrición. Impulso vital’ (Sala de Exposiciones Temporales). El coste será de 2€ para adultos y 1 € para niños y niñas.
El ‘Bestiarium’ (Sala L/90º) tendrá entrada gratuita. Además, podrás conocer a los habitantes de Casa del Río. La entrada gratuita a la Casa del Río para los menores de 14 años será gratuita. Y el planetario contará con una programación especial para todos los públicos.
El martes se celebrará la charla ‘Una radiografía vale más que mil palabras’ en el auditorio del Museo a las 19 h. La entrada será libre.
Bibliotecario por un día
Biblioteca de Castilla y León
El miércoles 14, la Biblioteca de Castilla y León organiza la actividad Bibliotecario por un día. Esta acción está pensada para niños de entre 8 y 14 años que quieran desempeñar este rol durante un día. La actividad se celebrará en la sala infantil y durante la jornada de trabajo (1 hora de duración) los participantes realizarán tareas de préstamo y devolución, conocerán las signaturas, colocarán los tejuelos a los libros, explorarán los laberintos de la biblioteca y descifrarán el código secreto de los libros.

El martes 13 se leerá El abrigo misterioso. Había un señor bajito y regordete en el barrio que todos los días del año, hiciera calor o frío, salía de su casa a pasear con un abrigo enorme. Todo el mundo decía que debajo de aquel atuendo debía de haber muchísimas cosas, como si de un baúl de los secretos se tratara. Los niños del barrio siempre trataban de averiguar qué es lo que escondía debajo del abrigo aquel señor, sin embargo parecía imposible de descubrir… Hasta que un buen día… ¡Ven a saber qué pasó!

Y el jueves 15 los asistentes a esta actividad descubrirán Las bombillas que se encienden y se apagan. Nadie sabe por qué nos vienen las ideas, por qué necesitamos estar pensando todo el día… Pensamos cosas buenas, malas y mágicas. Y algo mágico le pasó a nuestro protagonista al que de repente un buen día le sale una bombilla encima de la cabeza que hará que se sorprenda, imagine, cree y pretenda cambiar el mundo. ¿Qué haríamos nosotros si nos creciera una bombilla en la cabeza?

La Marmota
Esta semana podremos asistir a tres cuentacuentos en La Marmota. El primero el jueves 15 a las 18 horas. Este día se leerá Había una vez… Cuentos con tacto en noviembre y está pensado para niños de entre 1 y 3 años. El coste será de 10 euros por niño (5 euros el segundo). Al taller podrán asistir los padres.
El viernes 16 y con motivo del Día de las Librerías se celebrará una doble sesión. A las 18 horas se leerá A qué sabe la luna para niños de entre 3 y 6 años y las 19 horas Felipe tiene gripe.
El sábado, a las 11:30 horas, se leerá Las jirafas no pueden bailar. Esta lectura está pensada para niños de entre 3 y 6 años y el coste de la actividad será de 3 euros.
Música y danza
Centro Cultural Miguel Delibes
El domingo podrás disfrutar de El Jardín Musical, una representación mágica, en el Centro Cultural Miguel Delibes. El Jardín Musical viene impulsado en gran medida por el deseo de Teloncillo Teatro y El Quinteto Respira de crear acciones artísticas que fomenten la sensibilización musical en la primera infancia. El concierto pretende acercar a este público los siguientes instrumentos musicales: Oboe, Fagot, Flauta, Clarinete, Corno inglés y Trompa a través de piezas musicales muy conocidas, interpretadas en vivo por el Quinteto Respira.
Durante la representación, tres semillas aventureras viajarán de la mano de una bailarina, a través de las distintas estaciones del año. En otoño las empujará el viento, el invierno las cubrirá de nieve, dormirán esperando la primavera y con la llegada del verano florecerán.
Un espectáculo que merece la pena ver.

Más agenda con chiquiplanes. Esta vez en la provincia. El sábado 17, la Casa de Cultura de Simancas acoge la representación teatral de Caperucita (lo que nunca se contó) a cargo de Teloncillo. ¿Caperucita, otra vez?. ¿Cuántas veces se ha contado este cuento? Muchas, miles, millones. Tantas como madres y padres se lo contaron a sus hijos. Comenzó como un cuento popular que pasaba de boca en boca; Charles Perrault lo hizo libro. Los hermanos Grimm salvaron a la abuela y a Caperucita, introduciendo al leñador. Y se hicieron muchas películas.¿Vale la pena volver a contarlo? Creemos que sí. Algo tiene este cuento que pasa de generación en generación. ¿Y cómo lo contaremos? A nuestra manera, jugando con los personajes, transformando el relato en una comedia de enredos dislocados. Nada es como debería ser.

Medina del Campo
El Auditorio de Medina del Campor acoge el domingo 17 la representación teatral de Pinocchio. Pinocchio es la historia de un niño libre, sin prejuicios ni complejos, desobediente y travieso, pero, a la vez, ingenuo, muy ingenuo. Geppetto, con el instinto protector de un padre, intenta velar por su educación. En cambio, Pinocchio, desobediente, se verá inmerso en diversas aventuras, que le harán crecer y madurar como persona hasta acabar extenuado y, prácticamente… con un final sorprendente. Ésta es una interpretación que La Baldufa hace del texto original de Carlo Collodi.
De esta forma, papel y madera se ponen a disposición de la historia para conseguir una propuesta versátil y muy orgánica a partir de la que podremos sumergirnos en el imaginario de un niño-títere. Un cuento que permite reflexionar sobre valores como la educación, el esfuerzo, la responsabilidad y la sinceridad.
